Degene die me op Instagram volgen hebben gezien dat ik een tijdje geleden een slaapkamer make-over heb gedaan in samenwerking met IKEA Hasselt. Dit was zo leuk om te doen! Het was ook echt nodig want onze slaapkamer was echt saai en ongezellig. Met een klein budget en weinig middelen heb ik de hele slaapkamer omgetoverd tot een plek waar ik met plezier ga slapen.

Those who follow me on Instagram have seen that I did a bedroom makeover a while ago in collaboration with IKEA Hasselt. This was so much fun to do! It was really necessary because our bedroom was really boring and uncomfortable. With a small budget and few tools, I have transformed the entire bedroom into a place where I enjoy sleeping.
Als eerste heb ik een slaapkamer workshop gevolgd bij IKEA Hasselt. Wist je dat je als IKEA Family lid gratis workshops kan volgen in jouw IKEA? Dit was heel leuk om te doen. Een interieur adviseur geeft je advies en helpt je met de productkeuze. Zei kennen ook veel voordelen van de IKEA producten waar je je als klant vaak niet bewust van bent. First I followed a bedroom workshop at IKEA Hasselt. Did you know that as an IKEA Family member you can follow free workshops in your IKEA? This was a lot of fun to do. An interior advisor gives you advice and helps you with the choice of products. They also know many benefits of the IKEA products that you as a customer are often not aware of. De grootste impact is denk ik wel het hoofdbord. Ik heb hiervoor een IKEA hack gevolgd die ik zag voorbij komen op Pinterest. Met 2 simpele multiplex platen en de MOSSLANDA schilderijplank heb ik goedkoop en snel een mooi hoofdbord kunnen maken. De MOSSLANDA planken zitten aan de achterkant tegen het multiplex geschroefd zodat je nog wat ruimte hebt om er achteraf iets op te zetten. Het hoofdbord is zwart geverfd met de zwarte POPPARE verf van IKEA. Dit ging zo gemakkelijk! Zonder grondlaag was 1 laag verf al voldoende. Echt een aanrader is deze verf!
Met een groter tapijt (KNARDRUP) en mooie lange gordijnen (BLÅHUVA) werd de kamer al een stuk gezelliger. De lamp werd vervangen door de mooie marmeren MARKFROST met een TRADFRI peer erin. Nu kan ik de kleur van de lamp wijzigen naar koel of warm licht, dimmen én ik kan hem via afstandsbediening vanuit bed uitdoen. L-u-x-e! De nachtkastjes zijn VIKHAMMER. Ik vind dit model zo mooi dat ik ze al een tijdje in zowel zwart als wit heb. De lamp op het nachtkastje is van de limited OBEGRANSÄD serie. Ook deze heeft verschillende licht standen.
Ik ben echt zo zo blij met het eindresultaat! Elke dag opnieuw wandel ik weer gelukkig de slaapkamer binnen. Ook slaap ik een stuk beter sinds we verduisterende gordijnen hebben hangen.

I think the biggest change is the headboard. For this I followed an IKEA hack that I saw on Pinterest. With 2 simple plywood plates and the MOSSLANDA picture ledge I was able to make a beautiful headboard cheaply and quickly. The MOSSLANDA ledges are screwed to the plywood at the back so that you still have some space to put something on it afterwards. The headboard is painted black with IKEA's black POPPARE paint. This was so easy! Without a primer, 1 layer of paint was enough. This paint is highly recommended!
With a larger carpet (KNARDRUP) and beautiful long curtains (BLÅHUVA) the room became a lot cozier. The lamp was replaced by the beautiful marble MARKFROST combined with a TRADFRI bulb. Now I can change the color of the lamp to cool or warm light, dim it and I can switch it off from my bed via remote control. Luxury! The bedside tables are VIKHAMMER. I like this model so much that I've had them in both black and white for a while now. The lamp on the bedside table is from the limited OBEGRANSÄD series. It also has different light modes.
I am really so happy with the end result! Every day again I happily walk into the bedroom. I also sleep a lot better since we have blackout curtains.
